  • By Rail The closest railway station to Manali is Joginder Nagar Railway Station. It's around 165 km away. The most convenient way to get to Manali is by taking a train from Chandigarh, Pathankot or Delhi.

When is the best time to visit:

  • Manali enjoys pleasant weather all year round, but it is best to visit between March and June or from September to December.

  • From March to June the weather is perfect for outdoor activities such as trekking, river rafting and paragliding.
